Joshua Nelson, founder of Nelpro Project Solutions, built his career on a strong foundation in engineering and project management. Starting in engineering drafting for industrial engineering firms serving chemical and power-generating facilities, he pursued his education in engineering while gaining hands-on industry experience. He later earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi and an MBA from the University of Southern Indiana. His passion for project management grew as he took on roles in turnaround scheduling and outage planning, eventually becoming an outage manager for Duke Energy’s Midwest region, where he gained extensive experience managing large-scale projects.

In 2020, Joshua founded Nelpro Project Solutions. His expertise in project management & scheduling quickly positioned Nelpro as a preferred vendor for industrial clients, successfully executing turnaround projects. Since then, the company has grown fivefold in just the last year, expanding its team and reaching across the country. Today, Nelpro remains committed to providing industry-leading project solutions, delivering efficiency and excellence to clients nationwide.

Ivan Nelson is the Field Manager at Nelpro Project Solutions, where he plays a key role in ensuring efficient and timely project execution. With a background in the energy sector, Ivan brings valuable expertise in project scheduling, coordination, and operational efficiency. Before joining Nelpro, he worked at Lakeland Electric, serving as both a NERC Certified System Operator and a Journeyman Lineman, gaining firsthand experience in power systems and infrastructure management.

Nelpro Project Solutions, founded in 2020, specializes in project management, scheduling, and logistics planning, providing tailored solutions to meet client needs. Utilizing industry-leading software such as Microsoft Project Professional and Oracle Primavera P6, the company delivers detailed, data-driven project schedules.
